I had so much fun and felt so free creating this painting. Had to transform it beyond its frame and art prints into something that would convey even more the sense of freedom and the joy of creating it.
This puzzle seemed like the right choice and I hope you will feel the same. It's an A3 format piece with about 200 pieces to have fun with assembling.
Bonus: when you finish it you can simply hang it on your wall too or frame it, it looks just like the original piece, only that it is assembled by you ❤

Give us what you’ve got,” writes Steven Pressfield in his new book The War of Art: Break Through the Blocks & Win Your Inner Creative Battles.

Artists often feel guilty for not having a “real” job and that they should be contributing more to the family income. They then either feel guilty when they are in the studio away from their family or away from the studio and not working.
But, guilt is counterproductive emotion. If you find yourself feeling this way, remind yourself that your work is important and needed - it is what makes you whole and able to contribute more fully to your family when you are there.

ANNUNCIATION. A story of blessings and unbelievable love. 💛
What a gorgeous summer weekend to release an unthinkably soulful new limited edition print! This one I have been excited about making available to my wonderful galleries and on my website for a while now. There are also a couple of new mini originals that I have dropped in!

The emphasis for 'Annunciation' was the mix between the muted and the bright colours and a slightly chaotic feel in the movement of the robe folds within the bright colours embellishments. The contrast of the muted background alongside the bright colours offers so much for the subjects to dance around. I hoped the colours would have a sense of movement even within a 2D image.

4 years ago today I was leaving behind my high pai

4 years ago today I was leaving behind my high paid check corporate life and embraced fully an entrepreneurial life. Two years ago today I started this social media account as a full time artist and my own boss as an artpreneur.
Lots have changed and lots of learnings on the way. For example, it took me one year to finally learn how to manage my own time without any scheduled meetings in the calendar and I still have nightmares about missing a deadline or a 5 am flight. 🙂
It is a leap of faith to start something completely new, to start afresh and only with the belief in yourself that you will find a way.

In my case, I cannot say that I always had a call for painting that I was putting aside until now. I always loved art, of course, but I didn't have That dream that I was not living. I always loved to work with people and for people and I knew that I had to do it my own way some day. So moving from the security of a well paid job and professional recognition to a mere leap in the thin air was not easy, as I am sure it is not for many of you. I had no idea what I should do next. what was I really good at on my own, how to start, where to begin, how to pay the bills, what to tell my family that I am doing... But I knew my why... I wanted to live my own story fully, unapologetically and find a way to inspire others to do the same.

I am so incredibly grateful for this journey and where it took me in such short time. When I receive a message that my art inspires someone to start pursuing their dreams and when I get to hear that it brought a smile and inspiration to their face, that's when I am reconfirmed that I made the right choice.

There is no better time to start pursuing your passions and to believe in yourself than today. Here is to the next 4 years ahead.
